Boothbay Home

While in Boothbay Harbor, Maine this past summer, I came across many interesting scenes of homes by the oceans edge. I chose this home to do a painting because of the interesting shapes of this certain area ...the distant ocean divided up by the pine tree and chimney... the house on the right throwing its shadow across the lawn ...the red house next to the blue ocean .. .... the warm rooftop against the cool sky and a dark stand of pines that frame in the house. 12x12" Oil Paint
