I found a nice little frame with glass and mat in it at a yard sale...so today I decided to paint a picture for it, and this is it. Many liberties were taken here... the subject matter is actually in Portsmouth. I created a new street and named it South Church Street. I intended the church to be the center of interest, but as I look at it now, the white house on the right is asking for more than it's share of attention. I'll tone it down if I decide to do an oil painting of this scene.

Well, it just is pretty to me, Dennis. I guess I don't really follow or are aware of the rules most of the time. I think it is perfect as is!
Thank You Autumn
